Auchenharvie on ice till 2011 as rink closes
Skaters in Stevenston face a two-year wait to get back on the ice, following the announcement that Auchenharvie Ice Rink is to be closed from the end of the Summer hoildays in August until 2011 as a massive refurbishment plan is carried out.
The rink is due to take over part of the facilities from the soon to be demolished Magnum Centre, sharing them with a new rink in Irvine.
